Because the 2015 conference experience will make you wish you left your expectations back at the office!
Albert Einstein once said, “Creativity is intelligence having fun.” Yet how many of us get to be truly creative and have fun while working? We tend to rely more heavily on our left brains, sometimes at the expense of our right.
But edUi 2015 is all about stimulating both sides of our minds!
We already announced that we’re changing everything about edUi this year; we promised “a very different conference experience.” In fact, we plan to weave lots of exciting “whole brain” activities into the entire conference—so you can expand both your artistic and tech-geek side.
In your few days away from the office, we want to inspire you to experience new things, meet new people, and even sample new foods…maybe exploring things that you’ve always wanted to try, but just haven’t had a chance (yoga, anyone?).
We ask that you come with an open mind (both left and right sides!) and be ready to explore Charlottesville in a way you never expected.
edUWhy Reveal #1: Tuesday Night Adventure
In coming weeks, we’ll share more #eduWhy reveals that showcase how the 2015 conference is going to be all kinds of awesome.
But for today, our first reveal is what’s happening on Tuesday night (11/10) after the day’s conference sessions!
Head back to your hotel room? No thanks! Instead, you can choose your own Tuesday night adventure. Pick from 3 great options to take your Tuesday from average to awesome:
- Option 1: Dare to be scared: If you are feeling adventurous, explore downtown Charlottesville with a guided ghost tour & mystery walk. (limit: 4o)
- Option 2: Wine Loves Chocolate: Ever heard that chocolate doesn’t pair well with many wines? Well, here’s a chance to bust that myth with a wine & chocolate tasting, where you’ll enjoy some Virginia wines paired with hand-made chocolate truffles. Yum! (limit: 25) [Sold Out]
- Option 3: Crave great art? Sit in on a private gallery talk exhibiting fabulous local artwork from the Virginia Film festival at the Second Street gallery. (limit: 50)
But only the first 115 people who register for edUi can select one of these adventures, so take advantage of early bird registration (opens May 18) to secure your spot at one of these great activities!
And stay tuned for many more great #eduWhy reveals in coming weeks on why you can’t miss edUi this year!
