This year we’re excited to introduce a concept inspired by the folks at the IA Summit: flex tracks, a “mini-unconference” inside the main edUi conference schedule.
These four slots (two on Monday afternoon, two on Tuesday afternoon) will be filled by YOU! Conference attendees can present topics picked by edUiers during the conference.
Each day we’ll have a separate proposal process. You’ll be able to post ideas for sessions on a board in the main lobby area of the conference. Your fellow conference-goers will then vote on all sessions posted, to decide which ones will occur that day! Successful sessions will be announced over lunch before the flex track time slots that afternoon.
If you have a session you’d like to propose – a presentation, a panel, a discussion, etc. – bring your ideas! This is a great chance for folks who missed the call for proposals, those who have brand new concepts they want to share, or those who see a topic emerging during the conference that merits further discussion. This is an informal way to share your ideas with a pretty fast turnaround, so don’t feel like you need to have a polished presentation.
If you don’t have an idea but are still interested, be sure to find the proposed sessions and cast your vote for the flex track selections. Each afternoon you’ll have the chance to attend the winning flex track sessions.
